Here is the gang getting ready for the kiddie parade. This was the first year our kids did it, and I think they had fun. Addison rode in the Barbie jeep with Emma, Brody rode with Chase, and McKenzie had to walk with us. Troy was in the park looking at the car show, so I called him as we were starting. he caught up to us at the Good Sam, which was where the parade ended... somehow he missed us.

Brody is used to sitting shotgun. He hasn't learned to drive their Gator yet, so Emma always does. Chase's is in a little better condition, as the windshield on ours broke off. Actually, when Brody was smaller, he'd stand up and hold on to it, causing it to break.

Emma was so upset at the start of the parade, because the older kids were getting to the candy faster, and she wasn't getting any. I didn't have a lot of sympathy for her as it was her own fault. Dad did however, so he moved down the street a bit where there weren't as many kids.

This was my first time seeing the water wars. It was ok. The last competition was between the PR Jaycees and Stuvland Construction. I think it went on for 20 mins! The team that was pushing the barrel to the east won everytime. Gee, I wonder why? Could it be the 20 mile an hour winds from the west? Here Brandon and Spencer are duking it out.

At mom and dad's I happened to look out the window, and see Uncle Ross with both kids on his four-wheeler. I grabbed my camera and ran outside, since he is timid with kids. He's gotten a lot better at playing with them. When Brody was a baby, Lisa handed him to him and he just sat there with a blank look on his face. Emma's nickname for him is Rossy. Don't know where that came from.
