Monday, we took a family outing and did some school shopping for Emma. We brought the kindergarten supply list and checked things off as we walked through Target. We found out that when we got home I had bought the Crayola twistable colored pencils instead of the crayons. I wanted to buy her some clothes too while we were there, but Troy didn't have the patience to look at little girl's clothing. So, Tuesday night Emma and I had a "girl's night" as she called it. We headed to the outlet mall in Albertville, ate supper, hit Target again and headed home. I think we were gone for 3 1/2 hours. She did really good, no complaining. We have so many clothes from the cousins that we only bought one pair of pants, a hat, a cute pair of shoes and some shirts. She really didn't need anything new, but I remember how exciting it was to go school shopping as a kid. So, here she is posing in her new clothes.

This outfit she put together. Can you tell she likes her hat? We went to the park yesterday, and she HAD to wear it despite the 80 degree weather.
